
PEAB to build elementary school in Kaarina Municipality
Peab has been commissioned to build an elementary school and preschool in Kaarina. The customer is Kaarina Municipality and the contract is worth EUR 13 million, which corresponds to SEK 139 million.
The project includes demolition of the old elementary school building on the current site and construction of a new elementary school and preschool adjacent to the existing preschool building. The additional building will be 5,900 m2. The project also includes landscaping and parking spaces.
The new school will have classrooms for the preschool and grades one to four, workshops and a library. The new building will be located on a hillside and connect to the existing preschool building via an adjoining two-story lobby.
